The Stadt- und Brauereimuseum Pritzwalk is presenting the most fascinating chapters of the history of the more than 750 years old Hanseatic town as a regional centre of trading and craftsmanship. Attention is paid to the past and present of the Pritzwalk industry and especially of the brewery. The museum gets its special attraction from the former brewery-cellars used as exhibition space. Nearly unique are a mill and a printing workshop with a completely preserved and restored technical equipment from the beginning of the 20th century.

In the municipal museum of Eisenhuettenstadt there are shown selected chapters of an interesting history, especially the history of the new town, called Stalinstadt from 1953 to 1961. The history of the old town Fuerstenberg/Oder,today a part of Eisenhuettenstadt, is really interesting, too. There is also a collection of historical fire services and fire extinguisher that is presented in the Museum of fire services and machineries, which belongs to the municipal museum.

Raumflugplanetarium Cottbus
The Planetarium was established in the years 1973 and 74, on 26 April 1974 opened and carries the name of the first cosmonaut of the world, Juri Gagarin. The star projection equipment and some still-picture projectors still originate from this time. They have today historical value and are still fully ready for operation. In many details the Planetarium was modernized in the last years.

Lindenberg Weathermuseum
The meteorological and aerological museum was founded in 2006. Lindenberg is the place of the Richard-Aßmann Observatory, which was founded as the Royal Prussian Aeronautical Observatory by Prof. Richard Assmann, who is known nowadays as the discoverer of the stratosphere. Using special instruments carried by tethered balloons or kites, more than 25.000 vertical soundings of the troposphere and lower stratosphere have been realized.

International Artiste's museum
In the idyllic Barnimer country at the B109 in Klosterfelde, is a museum of special kind: It is the international artiste's museum in Germany which was opened on the 05th of September, 1997. In this museum the "fame hall of the artistes" is also since the 27th of October, 2000.
